Meet our scholarship recipients!

Bring Back the Trades Inc. awards monthly scholarships during the school calendar year to students from the Northeast who are attending post-secondary education in the Skilled Trades.

Kaitlin Nowak

 Kaitlin also known as Kai, is from Salem, NH.

 She is attending White Mountains Community College in NH.  Studying in Heavy Diesel and Equipment Technology.

"Throughout my entire life I have always wanted to better myself, and be the best I can be,"  says Kaitlin.

 

Makaila Kewatt

She is attending Hennepin Technical College in MN.  Studying in Auto Body Collusion.

"I have motivation, passion and the urge to succeed," says Makaila.

 

Zachary Friend

Zachary is attending Southeast Community College and studying Precision Machining and Automation.

"I did my job shadow at a Custom Machine and Design, and I really enjoyed it and right then and there I decided to learn more about becoming a machinist," says Zachary.



 

Connor Hopley

 Connor is from Portsmouth, NH.

 He is attending Lakes Community College in New Hampshire, studying Automotive.

"I have always been a creative problem solver who thinks outside the box," says Connor.  

 

Connor Fleming

Connor is from Stratham, NH.

He is attending Divers Institute of Technology in Seattle, WA studying Commercial Diving.

 

"The first time I laced up a pair of work boots and placed a hard hat on my head, I knew I was in my element," says Connor.

 

Abigail Trainor

Abigail is from Rye, NH.

Abigail is attending Wentworth Institute of Technology and studying Construction Management.

"Since the day I stepped onto a construction site I knew I loved it: it's part of my DNA," says Abigail.

Zachary Trout

Zachary is from Ledyard, CT

He is attending Universal Technical Institute and studying automotive.

"I want to become a trusted mechanic that people recommend to family and friends that will get to know them not only as clients, but as people," says Zachary.
