
Scholarship Details & Requirements

Bring Back the Trades awards one scholarship per month during the school year to an eligible student.

Only one application per student per calendar year will be accepted. Past scholarship recipients are ineligible.

Applications are accepted from the first day of the month until midnight est on the last day of the month. Winners are chosen the first day of the following month.

All payments will be made directly to the recipients school.

The requirements for the scholarship are as follows:

Applicants must be a senior in High school or enrolled into an accredited program pursuing a post-secondary education to acquire skilled training in the trades industry through an accredited program or a state/federally approved training facility.

Applicants can be from New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont or Rhode Island.

Applicants must submit an essay by the monthly deadline to be considered.

Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a current or past instructor, employer or personal reference from a non-relative.

The essay should explain why you should be selected, why you chose the particular trade and why you you would like to work in that industry.

Please include a picture of yourself doing the skilled trade when submitting your essay.
