Scholarship Details & Requirements

  • Bring Back the Trades awards one scholarship per month during the school year to an eligible student.

  • Only one application per student per calendar year will be accepted. Past scholarship recipients are ineligible.

  • Applications are accepted from the first day of the month until midnight est on the last day of the month. Winners are chosen the first day of the following month.

  • All payments will be made directly to the recipients school.

  • The requirements for the scholarship are as follows:

  • Applicants must be a senior in High school or enrolled into an accredited program pursuing a post-secondary education to acquire skilled training in the trades industry through an accredited program or a state/federally approved training facility.

  •  Applicants can be from anywhere in the Northeast.

  • Applicants must submit an essay by the monthly deadline to be considered.

  • Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a current or past instructor, employer or personal reference from a non-relative.

  • The essay should explain why you should be selected, why you chose the particular trade and why you you would like to work in that industry.

  • Please include a picture of yourself doing the skilled trade when submitting your essay.
